NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate or Workgroup option. This option allows you to use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate or Workgroup" if you have the Corporate or Workgroup installation. SYMPTOMSWhen you send an e-mail message from another program, such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Internet Explorer, the message format may change depending on whether you choose to work online or offline. If you have set HTML as your default e-mail format, Outlook uses HTML when online and Plain Text when offline. RESOLUTION
If you are going to send an HTML-formatted message using another program, such as the Send Page by E-mail option on the File menu of Internet Explorer, make sure you are working online for profiles that contain an offline folder file (OST). STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Outlook 2000.
