MORE INFORMATION

When you upgrade from Outlook 97 (version 8.0) with the Internet Mail service in your mail profile, to Outlook 2000 Internet Mail Only (IMO), the setting to check for new mail every <x>minutes is not migrated to the new program. You will need to manually reset the scheduled connection period after the upgrade from Outlook 97 to Outlook 2000.

To change the time interval, follow these steps:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.

  2. On the Mail Delivery tab, change the value for how often Outlook checks for new mail.
