SYMPTOMSYou can save a calendar as a Web page and place it on the Internet to share it with others. However, when you use FTP to directly publish an HTML calendar to a UNIX Internet Web server, it may not display properly. CAUSEMicrosoft Outlook creates filenames in all uppercase characters when using the FTP protocol. The file name is expected to be in all lowercase characters on a UNIX server, and therefore will not display correctly. RESOLUTIONTo work around this problem, save the HTML calendar to a local drive and then use a utility such as the Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard to copy the calendar to the Internet. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
