SYMPTOMSWhen you choose to send an e-mail message in HTML format using Stationery, you may see duplicate entries in the Stationery list. CAUSEYou installed Outlook over an earlier version and the Stationery list is displaying the contents of two different folders. RESOLUTIONSearch for and remove one copy of each duplicate Stationery item (.htm file) from either folder. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATIONThe default location for Stationery in Outlook 98 is: \Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\StationeryThe default location for these files in Outlook 2000 is: \Program Files\Microsoft Office\Stationery\1033Outlook will display entries from both of these folders in the Stationery list.
