OL2000: Error Message: Cannot Join a NetMeeting on Windows Terminal Server

SYMPTOMS

Using Outlook and Microsoft NetMeeting in a Microsoft Windows Terminal Server (WTS) environment, you attempt to book an online meeting with another user and receive the following error message:

The call could not be established because all protocols are disabled or not functioning properly.


CAUSE

NetMeeting is not supported in the WTS environment.


MORE INFORMATION

NetMeeting directory servers keep track of who is logged on by email address and IP address. When two users are logged on to a WTS session, they each have unique e-mail addresses, but are sharing the same IP address, that of the Terminal server computer.
