OL2000: (IMO) Automatic Font Format Not Applied to Messages With Many Addresses in the TO Line

NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Internet Mail Only option. To determine your installation type, on the Help menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Internet Mail Only" if you have the Internet Mail Only option installed.

SYMPTOMS

If you customize a view such that it applies specific font formatting and then receive an e-mail message that contains many addresses in the To field, your custom font formatting may not apply to that particular message. Other messages in the custom view will apply your font changes.

NOTE: This behvior does not appear in the Corporate/Workgroup installation of Outlook.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
