OL2000: No Warning Is Received That an Item Copied to a Nearly Full Disk Was Not Copied

SYMPTOMS

If you drag an Outlook item to a floppy disk that is too full to hold the item, the item will not be copied but you will not receive any warning that the disk was too full or that the item was not copied.

RESOLUTION

Visually verify that the item you copied is on the floppy disk.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
