OL2000: Archive PST File Display Name Is Changed to Archive Folders

SYMPTOMS

If you create a Personal Folders file (pst) for archiving, and give it a unique display name such as "My archive", Microsoft Outlook changes the display name to Archive Folders if you perform an archive using that pst file.

RESOLUTION

To identify your pst files according to the information that they contain (for example "March99"), use descriptive names for the actual pst file, rather than for the display name.
