SYMPTOMSIf you design a custom Contact form using Outlook 98 and chose to hide the Journal tab (page), when the form is viewed in Outlook 2000, the form still displays an Activites page. CAUSEThe Activities page in Outlook 2000 is a different page than the Journal page used in Outlook 98. RESOLUTIONRedesign the form in Outlook 2000 and hide the Activities page. MORE INFORMATION
The Activities page in the Contact form took the place of the Journal page in the pre-Outlook 2000 custom contact form and performs similar functions. However, the pages are very different with added functionality in the Activities page. During migration from Outlook 98 to Outlook 2000, the hidden property of the Journal page will not migrate to the new Activites page.
