OL2000: Preview Pane Not Updated with Edited Messages

SYMPTOMS

If you edit and save changes to an e-mail message, the preview pane does not reflect the changes.

CAUSE

The preview pane does not automatically refresh message views.

RESOLUTION

Open a different folder and then switch back to the original folder to refresh the preview pane and see the changes to the message. Or, if you have more than one item in the folder, click another item in the same folder, and then click the original message to see the changes. The preview pane refreshes each time you change the focus to another item.
