SYMPTOMSIf you import a personal folders file (PST), Microsoft Outlook changes any messages in HTML format to plain text format. CAUSEThis problem occurs when you import a PST created by Microsoft Outlook Internet Only Mail (IMO) into an Outlook Corporate or Workgroup (CW) mailbox. RESOLUTIONTo preserve the format, import the personal folder file into an Outlook (CW) local PST file, instead of the mailbox. If you import an Outlook (IMO) PST file into an Outlook (CW) PST file, Outlook preserves the HTML message format; however, if you then drag the HTML message from the local PST to the mailbox, Outlook changes the format to plain text with stationery information as attachments.
