NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate or Workgroup option. This option allows you to use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate or Workgroup" if you have the Corporate or Workgroup installation. SYMPTOMSIf you use the Find a Contact box in Quick Find, to find a contact using only the first and last name, your search results may not find an existing contact. CAUSEThis problem occurs under the following circumstances:
RESOLUTIONYou can work around this behavior by either searching on the full name, or by including an e-mail address or fax number in the contact's information, even if the information is incorrect. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
