NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate or Workgroup option. This option allows you to use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate or Workgroup" if you have the Corporate or Workgroup installation. SYMPTOMSWhen you use the Organize command to create a rule to move a message from a personal folders (.pst) Inbox, to a folder on the Microsoft Exchange Server, the target folder is not persistent and the rule does not run after the initial execution. RESOLUTIONCreate the rule using the Rules Wizard on the Tools menu, rather than the Organize command. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATIONThis problem only occurs if you are using a .pst-based Inbox as your default delivery location, and you are moving items from there to a folder located on your Exchange Server store.
