SYMPTOMSIf you upgrade Outlook 97 to Outlook 2000, and you had Inbox Assistant rules set up in Outlook 97, those rules migrate to the Rules Wizard but do not retain their descriptions. Instead the new rules are named "Inbox Assistant rule #n" where "n" is the number of the rule. CAUSEInbox Assistant rules use a description, while the Rules Wizard rules use a name field. Descriptions do not migrate to name fields when upgrading. RESOLUTIONTo manually rename each rule in the Rules Wizard:
