OL2000: Cancel Saving Outlook VBA Session Disables Delete Key

SYMPTOMS

If you create a Visual Basic for Applications module and when prompted, you cancel saving the project, you may lose some functionality of the DELETE key in the current Outlook session.

RESOLUTION

Quit and restart Outlook. This will return the DELETE key to its normal state.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
