NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate or Workgroup option. This option allows you to use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. When you attempt to import addresses from Internet e-mail programs, such as Eudora, to the Personal Address Book (PAB) using the Outlook Import/Export Wizard, the addresses are placed in Contacts instead of the PAB. CAUSEThis behavior occurs when your profile has the Outlook Address Book selected as the primary address source. RESOLUTION
To import to the Personal Address Book, make the PAB the primary address source. To do this, follow these steps:

Although Microsoft Outlook 2000 provides support for the PAB for backward compatibility, Outlook adds all imported addresses to the Outlook Address Book by default, because it is the default primary address source.
