OL2000: Office Assistant Image Appears to Blur When Scrolling Through Message List

SYMPTOMS

When you preview your e-mail messages using the AutoPreview option and scroll through the message list using the wheel button on your mouse, the Office Assistant image appears to blur into the text area. Additionally, portions of the text may momentarily disappear.

WORKAROUND

To reduce the possibility of this behavior, use either of the following methods:

• Position the Office Assistant image away from the table view of the Outlook Bar, Folder List, or toolbar area.



• Turn off the AutoPreview option and turn on the Preview Pane option (on the View menu).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
