OL2000: Duplicate Display of Adult Content and Junk E-mail Rule Descriptions

SYMPTOMS

When you view the descriptions of the Adult Content or Junk e-mail rules, the description Adult Content Senders or Junk Senders duplicates each time you view the rule. As a result such a rule description may look like this:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
containing adult content or from 'Adult Content Senders' or 'Adult Content Senders' or Adult Content Senders' or 'Adult Content Senders'
delete it

-or-

Apply this rule after the message arrives
suspected to be junk e-mail or from 'Junk Senders' or 'Junk Senders' or 'Junk Senders' or 'Junk Senders' or 'Junk Senders'
delete it


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.


MORE INFORMATION

The duplication in the rule description does not interfere with the proper processing of the rule. To clean up the description, delete and then recreate the rule.
