OL2000: Unable to Delete Blank Appointment Attendee Entry

SYMPTOMS

If you insert a blank space for a new attendee in the Meeting Planner, an X is placed beside the entry and you cannot delete the blank attendee from the list. If you click the X, your only choices are, Don't send meeting to this attendee, or Send meeting to this attendee.

RESOLUTION

To remove the blank attendee from the list, backspace over the space and press ENTER, or click Invite Others, and then click OK without selecting a new attendee. This will refresh the list of attendees, removing the blank entry.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
