OL2000: Unable to Synchronize Rex Classic Device with Outlook

SYMPTOMS

You are unable to synchronize Outlook 2000 and a Franklin Rex Classic handheld organizer using the True Sync Plus software supplied with the Rex Classic. The software successfully synchronized with Outlook 98. When you attempt to perform a synchronization, you receive the following error:

The device is a Rex Classic

RESOLUTION

Users of the Rex Classic should contact the support division of Starfish Software, manufacturers of the True Sync plus synchronization software, for work arounds and possible updates.
