SYMPTOMSWhen you receive a mail message in Outlook, header information appears at the top of some messages. CAUSEThe message, as formatted by the sending mail client or transmitted by the mail server, does not contain the required characters to delimit header information from the message body. MORE INFORMATIONThe standard governing the formation of Internet mail messages specifies two consecutive Carriage Return/Line Feed (CRLF) characters as separators between the header and message body. In some instances, the sending client or the transmitting mail server may alter this sequence of characters, causing the behavior. In presenting the message for viewing, and in the absence of the two CRLF characters, Outlook assumes that the header information is part of the message body. Additional query words: OL2K
