SYMPTOMSIn a Microsoft Office program, such as Microsoft Word, if you point to Send To, on the File menu, and then click Exchange Folder, you may receive the following error messages: When you click OK, you receive the second error message.
CAUSEThis problem can occur if Microsoft Outlook Express is set as your default simple MAPI client, rather than Outlook. RESOLUTIONQuit all programs and start Outlook. Click Yes to the following prompt: If you do not receive this prompt, you can select Outlook as your mail program in Microsoft Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer 5On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then on the Programs tab, click to select Microsoft Outlook in the E-mail box. Click OK to save the change.Internet Explorer 4.0On the View menu, click Internet Options, and then on the Programs tab, click to select Microsoft Outlook in the Mail box. Click OK to save the change.MORE INFORMATIONIf you attempt to send to a Mail Recipient instead of an Exchange Folder, the Outlook Express migration process may start. If you have not yet set up e-mail accounts, the Internet Connection Wizard starts. If you have already set up an account, Outlook Express will attempt to send the document.
