OL2000: Inconsistent Colors in Monthly View of Calendar

ID: Q229162

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Outlook 2000

SYMPTOMS

When you look at the monthly view of a Calendar folder, on some computers the adjacent months alternate colors from gray to white to gray to white, and so on.  On other computers, the adjacent months are all the same color.

CAUSE

Windows color schemes affect how monthly Outlook calendars display.  Using a display scheme such as Windows Standard shows the alternating white and gray months.  Other display schemes such as Plum (high color), show the same color for each adjacent month.

RESOLUTION

Change your display properties to a scheme that suits how you want your monthly calendars to display. To set your display properties, right-click the Windows desktop, and then click Properties. Click the Appearance tab, and in the Scheme list, click to select the scheme you want to use.
