OL2000: Colors in Monthly View of Calendar Are Not Consistent Among Computers

ID: Q235894

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Outlook 2000

SYMPTOMS

When viewing your calendar in monthly view, the colors alternate from gray to white. On other computers, the same view shows the month as all gray.

CAUSE

The other computers are using a different Windows color scheme. Picking a color scheme such as Windows Standard lets the gray display.

RESOLUTION

Choose a different color scheme.

MORE INFORMATION

Color schemes control how many Microsoft Office items are displayed, including colors. In several preset color schemes, such as Plum, the same two colors are used for the trigger colors, therefore the months all appear the same color.
