NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate or Workgroup option. This option allows you to use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate or Workgroup" if you have the Corporate or Workgroup installation. SYMPTOMSWhen attempting to digitally sign an outgoing e-mail message with a VeriSign Digital ID, you may receive the following error: This error does not occur using Microsoft Outlook Express. CAUSEThis occurs when you use two or more Internet e-mail accounts. Because the Corporate or Workgroup installation option does not offer the Send Using feature, the wrong e-mail address is associated with the digital ID. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, use one of the following methods. Add the From Field to MessagesTo ensure that the correct e-mail address is being used for the digital ID, add and use the From field in your outgoing message.
Create Another Profile for the Internet E-mail AddressCreate a separate profile for the Internet e-mail address you used when you obtained your digital ID.
