-or-
Unable to directly book this meeting with a resource because an attempt to log on to Schedule+ failed. Would you like to send a meeting request instead?
If you attempt to invite the Resource account through an e-mail meeting request:

CAUSE

  • Run Office 2000 or Outlook 2000 Setup and select Run all from My Computer for Outlook.

  • Modify the Setup.ini file to install the Schedule+ support files.

To Modify the Setup.ini File to Install the Schedule+ Support Files

If you have deployed Office on a network, you can use a Setup.ini file to add the Schedule+ support files. This file is used by including it in the same folder as the Setup.exe file, or by pointing to it with the Setup command-line switch, /settings <path to ini file>.

This adds only the Schedule+ support files to an existing installation.
  1. Copy the Setup.ini file from the Office CD.

  2. Open the Setup.ini file in NotePad.

  3. Remove the semicolon (;) from the [Options] section header and add the following PropName=PropValue for the Schedule+ support files:

  4. ADDLOCAL=OutlookSchedulePlus (This string is case sensitive.)
  5. Close and Save the Setup.ini file and run Setup again.

If you have installed Outlook on several different machines without deploying from a network server, you can copy the Setup.ini file to a diskette and run setup from the Office 2000 CD on each machine with the following command line:
<CD ROM Drive>:\Setup.exe /settings a:\setup.ini
