OL2000: Error Message "The Stored Calling Card Information May Be Corrupt"

SYMPTOMS
When starting Outlook, or when editing Outlook contacts, you may receive the following error message:
The stored calling card information may be corrupt. Would you like to
reset to default values?
CAUSE
This problem can occur if you have a damaged or incorrect format for a telephony file.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem remove and replace Telephon.ini:
- Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files or Folders.
- In the Named box, type Telephon.ini.
- In the Look in list, click to select the drive you have Windows installed on. For example, C:. Click Find Now.
- In the found files list, right-click the Telephon.ini file, and then click Rename. Rename the file to Telephon.old.
- Close the Find dialog box.
- Click Start, and then click Run. In the Open box, type tapiini, and then click OK.
- Restart your computer.

The Telephon.ini file stores the settings for all TAPI-enabled applications, such as Fax and Dial-Up Networking.
A default Telephon.ini file for Microsoft Windows 95 contains the following settings:

The
[Locations]
section of the Telephon.ini file contains an entry for each dialing location you have created. The entry for the default dialing location is similar to:
Location0=0,"Default Location","9","9","425",1,0,0,1,"",0,""
When you recreate a new default Telephon.ini file, you will have to recreate your custom dialing locations.
