  • Microsoft Outlook 2000

SUMMARY

This article describes how to allow a delegate to view items in the manager's mailbox that have been marked as Private.

MORE INFORMATION

All versions of Outlook allow a user (a manager) to designate another user as a delegate. With appropriate premissions, the delegate can use Outlook to open and view items in specified folders. However, items marked by the manager as Private are still not visible. This by design.
