SYMPTOMSThe Offline Address Book (OAB) may appear empty, or display old information. CAUSE
When synchronizing the OAB, Outlook copies the OAB files to the local
workstation for later use. When the client needs them to display the
Address Book contents, it assumes the OAB files are in a different location
from where they were copied. For example, the OAB may be downloaded to the
C:\TEMP directory, but is expected to be in the C:\WINNT directory. The
result is either an empty OAB, or the display of old information.
