OL98: ErrMsg: "You cannot group items by this field"

SYMPTOMS

When you use the group-by-field feature of Microsoft Outlook 98, you may receive the following error message:

You cannot group items by this field.

-or-

You cannot sort items by this field.

CAUSE

Outlook cannot group or sort by certain types of fields, such as Formula and Combination field types.
