SYMPTOMSWhen replying to plain-text messages in Microsoft Outlook 98, the Uniform Resouce Locator(URL), My Auto Signature resembles: http://Myserver/MyShare <http://Myserver/MyShare> CAUSEThis is a result of the HTML to Plain-text converter Outlook uses that attempts to be intelligent about the conversion and maintain as much as possible of the original text. RESOLUTIONWhen the mail format is set to HTML and a Plain-text message is replied to, a URL that is part of your Signature may be misconverted when the message is opened by the recipient. This can be corrected by editing your Signature with the Advanced editor while the default mail format is set to Plain Text. MORE INFORMATIONEdit the Signature With Advanced Edit
Changes you make in the plain-text version of your signature using Advanced Edit will not override changes in the other formats (HTML or RTF). Additional query words:
