SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Outlook 98, when viewing tasks in the Simple List view in Outlook Today, you cannot sort them in due date order. The Today's Tasks view does sort tasks for the current day. CAUSETasks are read from the Tasks folder into the Outlook Today view based on the order that they were created. Due dates are displayed, but once in this view they cannot be resorted. RESOLUTION
This behavior is by design. The Outlook Today view is displayed using
predefined Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) code.
