NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Internet Mail Only option. To determine your installation type, on the Help menu, click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook, you should see "Internet Mail Only" if you have the Internet Mail Only option installed. SYMPTOMS
When you use Microsoft Word 97 to create an envelope or label and select
the name for the delivery address from your Microsoft Outlook 98 Contacts,
you do not have the option to choose which address is used.
CAUSEWord requires a fully compliant Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) address book. The Internet Mail installation option of Outlook is not a fully compliant MAPI client. NOTE: Only Microsoft Word 97 has a converter that recognizes the Outlook Address Book. Neither earlier versions of Microsoft Word, nor other word processing programs, are able to use the Outlook Contacts. RESOLUTIONWhen you create your Contacts in Outlook, type the desired mailing address as the business address, using one of the following methods. Method 1
