NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate Workgroup/Other option. This option allows you to use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate" if you have the Corporate Workgroup installation. SYMPTOMSIf you attempt to send HTML mail, recipients may receive the message in plain text format only, and receive any graphics you used as part of the mail message's HTML format as file attachments. CAUSEThis problem occurs when you have Microsoft Outlook configured with the cc:Mail transport option. The native cc:Mail transport option does not preserve HTML formatting. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, enable Transport Neutral Encapsulation Format (TNEF) for mail messages, which preserves the formatting. To enable TNEF for cc:Mail, follow these steps:
