This option allows you to use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate" if you have the Corporate Workgroup installation. SYMPTOMSAfter you view and close a fax received in Microsoft Outlook 98, the envelope icon on the taskbar remains visible. RESOLUTIONThe envelope icon on the taskbar will disappear as soon as you receive and read a new e-mail message. To quickly remove the icon, you can send yourself a message, open it, and then close or delete the message. MORE INFORMATION

on the taskbar.
