of your screen when it is fully maximized.
MORE INFORMATION
WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
For information about how to edit the registry, view the "Changing Keys And
Values" Help topic in Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) or the "Add and Delete
Information in the Registry" and "Edit Registry Data" Help topics in
Regedt32.exe. Note that you should back up the registry before you edit it.
Outlook may open in a fully maximized state and be misaligned in your
monitor's viewing area due to a damaged registry setting. To
correct this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, and then click Run.
- Type Regedit to start the Registry
Editor.
- On the registry tree in the left panel, navigate to the following
Registry key:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.0\Outlook\Office Explorer\
(HKCU = HKEY_CURRENT_USER)
- In the right panel, right-click Frame, and then click Delete.
- Quit the Registry Editor.
- Start Outlook, and click the Maximize button in the upper-right corner
of the title bar. You can also maximize the window by right-clicking
the title bar and then clicking Maximize.
The Frame key (in the registry) is now re-created and Outlook will open
fully maximized.
