NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate Workgroup/Other option. This option allows you to use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate" if you have the Corporate Workgroup installation. SYMPTOMSUsing Microsoft Outlook, when you attempt to send a message to an individual contact or a group of contacts, you may receive the following and Outlook sends no mail. CAUSEThis problem occurs when you are using Microsoft Exchange Server as your mail system and one of the contact mailboxes has been deleted from the Microsoft Exchange server. RESOLUTIONCorrect the e-mail address of the problem contact or use the address book to send the message. MORE INFORMATION
When you add a contact that is also in the Global Address Book, Outlook
resolves the e-mail address to a Microsoft Exchange Server address. If you
remove the mailbox from the Microsoft Exchange Server, the address in the
Contact list is not updated.
