NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate Workgroup/Other option. This option allows you to use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate" if you have the Corporate Workgroup installation. SYMPTOMSYou are a roaming user on a Microsoft Windows NT network and when you try to create an AutoSignature you receive the following error:
CAUSEThe network folder where AutoSignature files are to be stored either does not exist or you do not have sufficient rights to this folder. RESOLUTIONThe network administrator will need to create the folder or assign you read/write access to the folder if it exists. MORE INFORMATIONThe folder for storing roaming user settings is stored in the Registry in a custom key created by the administrator for each roaming user.
