OL98: Logging on to Terminal Server Shows Someone Else's Accounts

SYMPTOMS

When attempting to run Outlook from a Microsoft Terminal Server installation, you may discover that you already have account and profile information established for someone else.


CAUSE

The Terminal Server administrator, set up Outlook for personal use while in Install Mode.


RESOLUTION

Notify the Terminal Server administrator. Switch to Excecute Mode before setting up Outlook for personal use.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
