The Outlook 98 Deployment Kit allows users to build Outlook packages with preconfigured options. Two of the options you can configure are to Import Microsoft Schedule+ data into the Outlook calendar, and remove the Schedule+ data from the Microsoft Exchange Server. If you select these two options in your package, users who install the package may end up with duplicate appointments. CAUSE
The first time Outlook is run, the "First Run" code is executed. This code will look at some of the settings configured in the ODK. There was a logic error that prevented the removal of the Schedule+ data from the Exchange Server. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
