OL98: Large Messages Do Not Show Voting Buttons

SYMPTOMS

If you receive a large message with voting buttons from another Outlook user, the voting buttons may not display when you open the message.

RESOLUTION

Cut and paste the message body into a Word document or text file and send that file as an attachment to the rich-text message.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

You will not see any voting buttons added to a large (64K or more) mail message. This problem does not occur in other versions of Outlook.
