NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Internet Mail Only option. To determine your installation type, on the Help menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Internet Mail Only" if you have the Internet Mail Only option installed. SYMPTOMSYou try to perform a mail merge from Word using Outlook contacts, and when you choose the Outlook Address Book, you are prompted to select the header record delimiter. CAUSEThe contacts are based on a custom form. RESOLUTION
Use a utility to change the message class field of the Outlook contacts back to IPM.Contact, perform the mail merge, and then run the utility again to reset the message class fields, so the contacts again use your custom Contact form.
