OL98: Outlook Fails to Move E-mail from the Inbox to Microsoft Mail Shared Folders

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to move a message from the default Inbox to a Microsoft Mail Shared Folder, using a rule made either with the Rules Wizard or with the Organize feature, you may receive the following message:

<Rule name> Cannot move to <Folder name> folder.


RESOLUTION

Manually move items from the Inbox to a Microsoft Mail Shared Folder.

This problem was corrected in Microsoft Outlook 2000.
