System Requirements

• A personal computer with a 486 or higher microprocessor.



• Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT version 4.0 or later.



• 8 megabytes (MB) of RAM for Windows 95, 16 MB of RAM for Windows NT



• 16 to 80 MB of available hard disk space, 38 MB required for Standard installation with Internet Explorer 4.01 already installed, or 65 MB with Internet Explorer not previously installed.



• CD-ROM drive (if installing from CD-ROM)



• VGA or higher resolution monitor (Super VGA, 256-color recommended)



• Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device

Additional Requirements

• 9600 baud, or higher modem (14,400 recommended)



• Microsoft Mail, Microsoft Exchange, Internet Mail, or other Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) compliant software required to use e-mail



• Microsoft Exchange Server is required for certain advanced workgroup functions



• An additional 8 MB of memory is required to run WordMail



• Some Internet functions may require Internet access and payment of a separate fee to an internet service provider



• A multimedia computer is required to access sound and other multimedia effects
