SYMPTOMSWhen you open an item in a read-only public folder, make a change, and then save the item, you are prompted to save the item in the default folder for that item type. At that point, the focus changes to the saved item but the item's titlebar still displays "Read-Only," even though the item is not read-only. WORKAROUNDTo remove the words "Read-Only" from the titlebar, close the item, and then reopen the saved copy. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Outlook 97.
