In the Outlook Calendar's Day/Week/Month View the date heading over the Day view may display in the format, "Day, Month Date" (Tuesday, February 18). Outlook inherits this date format from the Windows Regional Long Date setting, but does not display the year. You can modify the date format for Calendar headings by following these steps:

Click the Start button, point to Settings and click Control Panel.

In the Control Panel, double-click the Regional Settings icon.

On the Date tab, click the Long date style. Outlook uses this style to display the date for the Calendar day heading.

The Regional Date Settings correlate to Outlook in the following manner:


 Regional Date Setting                   Outlook
 ---------------------                   -------
 dddd,MMMM dd,yyyy                       dddd, MMMM dd
 MMMM dd,yyyy                            MMMM dd
 dddd,dd MMMM,yyyy                       dddd, dd MMMM

NOTE: If there is not enough space on the screen to display the whole date, Outlook abbreviates the date accordingly.
