SYMPTOMSWhen you type a large number of lines of code into the Visual Basic Script Editor in Microsoft Outlook 97, you eventually cannot type any more characters; the Editor does not accept the keystrokes. CAUSEThe Visual Basic Script Editor can store a maximum of 32 KB of text. Any text beyond 32 KB will not be accepted by the editor. RESOLUTION
This is a limitation of the Visual Basic Script Editor which shipped with
Outlook 97. Microsoft provides a Visual Basic Script Editor Patch that does
not have this limitation.
