SYMPTOMSWhen you create a new task in Microsoft Outlook 97, the owner may display as "Me" instead of your name. CAUSEOutlook assigns the task owner based on the user information of the e-mail transport service. If the e-mail transport service contains a user name entry, that name becomes the owner of a new task. Some mail transport services (such as MSN 1.3 and 2.0) do not contain a user name in the service properties, so the task owner becomes "Me."
