STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Outlook 97 versions 8.01 and 8.02. The problem was corrected in Outlook 8.03. MORE INFORMATION
You can use AutoSignature to automatically add text to mail messages you
send. For example, you can create an AutoSignature that includes your name,
job title, and phone number. You can also use AutoSignature to add a custom
heading to your messages or to include a standard paragraph about how you
want others to respond to your messages. You can change the font and
alignment of the AutoSignature to give your signature a unique appearance
and use different formats for individual characters or words in the
signature.
