SYMPTOMSIf you use the 16-bit Exchange Forms Designer Sample Applications forms located on the Microsoft Outlook 8.03 compact disc, or the Microsoft Exchange Server version 4.0 or 5.0 discs, or any other 16-bit form, and you attempt to close one of the forms or delete an open item created from one of these forms, Microsoft Outlook 97 hangs. You must be running Outlook on Microsoft Windows NT for this to occur. CAUSEWhen the form is closed or the item is deleted, it waits for Outlook to release its handles to the form's resources. Outlook never releases the handles so the form appears to hang. RESOLUTION
